Immediate Need For SAP Tester Coordinator - Interview And Start ASAP!! Job Title: SAP Tester Coordinator Location: Birmingham, AL Duration: 9+ Months *American-born US Citizen Only!* Detailed Job Responsibilities: Should have at least 9-15 years of Testing / Test Coordination/ Mgr Experience, multiple years, experience ideally in the automotive industry Excellent Soft-Skills Required – English Speaking a must. Must be clear and concise and clearly understandable in speaking. Excellent oral and written skills. Must have management experience, responsible for status reporting. Able to lead and manage a team of testers and coordinate their activities, must have tangible experience in this area. Somebody who has the level of assertiveness required for the job. It needs to be a person who has really coordinated Test phases in SAP fully lifecycle implementations, instead of somebody who just executed test cases. Somebody who knows what questions to ask and what pre-requisites are required before you can start testing (e.g. Test system landscape available, Authorization ready, Functional test case scope clarified, how to coordinate testing between parallel projects, etc). Should have sound experience in using the Test Management Tool HP Quality Center Able to work closely with: Central Program Management (Client and 3rd party vendor) Local business (coordinate e.g. User Acceptance Testing, involvement of Key User, etc) Local project team (e.g. Functional testing, Planning, tracking execution) Local PMO Local IT (Test system readiness, etc); coordination with legacy application owner; e.g. coordination of integrated testing, test starts in legacy system and continue in SAP system Knowledge of quality assurance methodologies and experience, SAP ASAP Methodology, SDLC and SAP testing methodologies and Solution Manager Prefer candidate functional knowledge in one or more of these SAP areas: FI and CO (Cost Center, Internal Order, Profitability Analysis, Product Costing, Project System Profit Center Accounting), MM, SD Broad knowledge and experience of integration between applications and external systems (SAP AIF, Middleware PI, but that will not be a must) Solid technical background in testing methodologies Demonstrated competency in most testing types (i.e. Unit Testing, Quality Testing, Functional Testing, Integration Testing, User Acceptance Testing, End to End Testing) Must have the ability to work with all technical and functional areas and communicate requirements Point of contact for all testing deliverables and provides clarifications to testing requirements. Works with client to ensure test planning and resources are in place to provide quality testing. Strong communication skills - experience producing defect reports. Must have excellent communication skills.
