Job Title: Product Manager With Ecommerce Background
Locvation:NYC,NY
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Responsibilities include:
Align business and technology roadmaps
Proactively seek to understand each division’s business objective and
champion those objectives to deliver business value
Understand how the business objectives intersect with technology, and help
translate those objectives into business and functional requirements
Partner with the business to develop and track both business and technical
KPIs to measure progress and drive improvement
Create, maintain, and communicate a calendar of technical events in support
of the business objectives
Ensure that the technology deliverables meet the business requirements
Facilitate business and technology discussions regarding schedule and
priority
Foster collaborative communication among technical and business teams
Contribute to the publishing and deployment of business content
Ensure proper project planning occurs and that estimates for scope, effort,
cost, and schedule are properly defined, communicated, and accepted by key
stakeholders
Facilitate the collection of operational or business requirements, set
milestones, as well as track and manage projects to successful completion
Coordinate and manage the vendors responsible for various components of the
platform.
Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and
stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
Review project deliverables to ensure completeness & adherence to standards
Manage risks and issues
Monitor post-production processes to ensure accurate completion of all
details
Sets and manages business expectations
Technical background required (development experience highly preferred),
Strong Knowledge of Agile Methodology, Excellent end client communication
skills, Excellent writing skills, must have experience
creating user stories, knowledge of e-commerce and publications a plus.
Ideal candidate will have experience guiding rapid paced, complex
development projects from project inception, through all phases
of SDLC including requirements development and documentation, interaction
with both development resources and end users to ensure successful
development to ensure functional and business objectives
are met, active participation in QA and UAT processes.
