*Database and Application Performance Specialist, need SAP Experience* *St Louis MO* *1 Year* *$60/hr* *Job Details:* *Database and Application Performance Specialist :* We are seeking an experienced Performance Specialist to perform all aspects of database and application performance tuning in a mutli-platform enterprise environment. This position will conduct testing and provide performance recommendations to developers and database administrators. *Responsibilities will include:* • Collaborate with development and functional teams to identify, resolve, and report on the root cause of performance related issues. • Utilize system monitoring tools to detect problems and identify performance trends. • Partner with vendors to deploy and support complex business solutions such as SAP. • Lead efforts across multiple IT teams to validate readiness of business critical systems prior to business dates/ project go-lives using a well established testing process. • Participate in on-call support during off hours for issue resolution. *Required Skills/Experience:* • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Systems (MCS, MIS) or in related field is required. • 8+ years of performance experience including: o Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning with Oracle DB o Demonstrated expertise in performance tuning SAP ABAP/Java code o Experience detecting, diagnosing, and troubleshooting performance issues o Ability to perform capacity planning and forecasting • Strong understanding of load/stress testing tools (e.g. WebLoad, Certify) and process • Provide insight into performance bottlenecks leveraging a variety of skills and tool sets on multiple platforms • Strong written and oral communication skills • Excellent problem solving skills • Ability to document processes and procedures • Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing team environment with aggressive timelines *With Regards* *Sareen Bhaskaran **|* *Prosoft Technology Group, Inc* *Email: **[email protected]* <[email protected]>* |Desk: **630.689.2960 Ext 145* https://www.facebook.com/groups/usrecruiting/ -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
