*Position  :  Enterprise Wireless LAN EngineerLocation :   Madison, NJ -
Peapack, NJ , Collegeville, PADuration :   3-6+ Months contractRate
:   $55/hour on C2C*
*The Enterprise Wireless LAN (WLAN) Engineer is responsible for meeting
with the client's Business Unit representatives to determine business
requirements, selecting the appropriate technical solution from the
client’s approved architectural standards, creating and documenting the
engineering configuration necessary to meet the client's business
requirements, submitting the design to the change control board and
obtaining approval to proceed. This person will then implement the change
within an appropriate outage window, and will provide post-cutover support
until the devices are accepted by the Operations group for ongoing support.
Candidate must be familiar with desktop Wireless troubleshooting*









*The following skills are required for the Level 2 Enterprise Wireless LAN
Engineer:Must be familiar with desktop wireless troubleshootingExperience
reading and analyzing an Enterprise WLAN Site Survey.Experience performing
WLAN Site Surveys a plus.WLAN capacity and performance analysis for project
planning.Support WLAN project quality metrics.Provide WLAN technology
leadership to other members of network team.Experience configuring LWAPs
and Wireless Controllers required.Experience using Airmagnet desired.*









*The following LAN Switching Design and Implementation skills are also
required:802.3 Ethernet Bridging and Switching StandardsProvides daily
project support services in the Americas region.Support relationships with
key upstream IT delivery organizations (IP Services, application support,
etc.)LAN Capacity and performance analysis for project planning.Business As
Usual (BAU) network software and hardware maintenance projects.Support
project quality metrics.Provide technology leadership to other members of
network team.Experience with Wide Area Load Balancing (like GSS) and Local
Area Load Balancing (CSS/ACE) Architecture a plus*

*Industry Knowledge:*








*802.11A/B/G/N Standards, as well as 802.3Strong Wireless LAN Site Survey
and implementation experienceComputer NetworkingFamiliar with Fiber Optic
standards used in campus switching environmentLANS/WANSSwitches – Cisco
Catalyst platform (VLANs, trunking)Wiring StandardsKnowledge / and or
experience with Protocols OSPF, BGP, EIGRP and other related technologies
(Multicast, IP Video and IP Telephony).CCNA / CCNP / CCDP skill levels
