*Please find the below requirement.* *Job Title: Project Manager Location: Austin, TXDuration: 12+ Months* *Description:* Essential Functions: • Manages and evaluates the project using accepted project management methodologies • Ensures all needed cross-functional groups are represented on the core program/project team • Compiles program/project schedules, work plans, resources requirements, and cost estimates and projections • Identifies program/project stakeholders and their roles • Works collaboratively with all levels of senior management, business representatives, and the teams to clearly define and achieve mutual understanding of the project scope • Effectively coordinates the activities of the program/projects based on familiarity with solution scope and objectives, as well as the role and function of each team member • Identifies dependencies and tracking method to ensure consistency in project goals for both functional and technical task. • Negotiates phase and deliverable reviews to provide adequate visibility and gauge progress and quality • Plans for the involvement of identified stakeholders and the senior management of program/project data • Establishes and maintains a formal, approved document used to manage and control the execution of the project based on the defined program/project scope • Identifies the work packages in sufficient detail to specify estimates of tasks, sequence and responsibilities to develop the program/project schedule with assigned resources • Leads in identifying cost budgeting, quality, communications, and risk management planning for the program/projects • Identifies potential program/project risks and difficulties and designs strategies to mitigate or avoid them • Manage the program schedule and all related task details utilizing project management tools • Manages proposed changes to program/project parameters and changes to original program/project plan • Monitors progress, identifies variances, performs required corrective actions and communicates project information to appropriate stakeholders and management • Manages the handover of project deliverables from the team to the customer and any supporting groups • Conducts a program/project review to capture lessons learned to pass along to future projects • Compiles and distributes program/project information, status reports, and budget expenditures to management. • Ensures that project status, issues and successes are communicated to project team, stakeholders, sponsors,steering committee and all levels of management and documented appropriately.Facilitates meetings and resolution of identified issues, discrepancies and risk. • Coordinates with the vendor project manager in alignment of task between ERS and the vendor. • Identify data transition validation and verification methods to ensure accuracy, either with internal staff or vendor. • Performs other duties as assigned Qualification Requirements Education and Training: • Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment • Project Management Professional (PMP?) certification is required. • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office? and Microsoft Project? Experience: 8 to 12 or more years of experience in the role of a program/project manager on efforts meeting the following characteristics: • Team size of 40 or greater FTEs with 6 or more functional disciplines / stakeholders • Duration of greater than 11 months with an aggressive timeline • High level of risk to stakeholders • Managing many interfaces and/or an enterprise-level span of impact • Managing complex communications, marketing and vendor coordination Vendor contract management experience is preferred Experience with State Legislative processes is preferred Experience with Health Benefit programs with multi plan offerings is preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities • Proficient in project planning, organizing, team motivation and delegation • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills and attention to detail • Understanding and experience with related business and development processes • Knowledge of technical issues involved with the project’s deliverables • Ability to work on multiple projects with tight deadlines in an ever changing environment • Able to influence individuals at all levels in different departments, including senior executives • High degree of flexibility and high tolerance of ambiguity • Uses all knowledge, skills and abilities to apply critical thinking to all aspects of the job.
