Tasks to be performed: 1. Walkthru the current Cassendra/Hector (java client for Cassandra) implementation on our Websphere Application Servers 2. Assist the team to complete the “clean up” utility, for any Quote IDs that are older than 7 days in the system 3. Assist the team to enhance/completion of message logging, including searching capability, reporting, stats collection and archive 4. Review data backup requirements and provide steps/process for data recovery in the case of data corruption 5. Assist the team to provide a migration plan to SQL 6. Provide installation instructions, analytical and monitoring tools, and Production Support pointers and guidelines to the MWE team Skillset Details: Have extensive experience on setting up Cassandra in a Production Environment, with a completed understanding of its implementation and best practice, in a message persistency use case. Able to trouble shoot problems and make recommendation; also install necessary monitoring of the health of the environment.
