*Position:Project ManagerLocationFort Worth, TexasDuration:12 months* Description The Program Management Office (PMO) Administrator is responsible for supporting Project Management Office (PMO) responsibilities for a major enterprise level IT program (PSS Integration). Incumbent will function at the highest skill level in project management practices – deep understanding of project planning and scheduling, and will report on program level status and health performance related to the areas of the program inclusive of Schedule, Scope, Resources, Risks, Issues, Changes and Contractual Obligations.
Primary Responsibilities include: • Creating and maintaining overall health reporting of the Program through creating and publishing of program dashboards and executive reports • Working closely with vendors involved in the this program to validate that vendor project and program status reports are in alignment with internal reports • Working closely with multiple project managers internally to ensure that project management disciplines are being adhered to and monitored as well as project schedules are being updated in a timely manner to ensure that program level reports are accurate at all times • Closely aligning with Project Managers (who manage projects within the program) to ensure that, issues, risks and project changes are being managed and mitigated in a timely basis. • Support establishment and Maintaining of Project Management processes including standards, and procedures, and identify appropriate tools if required • Updating and maintaining the overall program plan from the roll up of individual project schedules • Creating, updating and maintaining project dependencies • Assisting with resolution of issues/risks • Providing project managers with support for MS Project Schedules Qualifications: • Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, attention to detail and interpersonal skills (Required) • Ability to work independently and manage one’s time (Required) • Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and project management methods ( required) • Exercises independent judgment with minimal direction from supervisor • Experience and extensive working knowledge of MS Project Schedule • Knowledge of computer software such as: SharePoint, Microsoft Office Tools • Project Management experience required • Bachelor degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
