We are looking for a *Core Java - Consultant/Senior Consultant *to
support world’s leader in providing IT consulting and software services to
the finest global organizations client.
This is a *6 Months Contract* based in *Long term Contract*
*Position: Core Java - Consultant/Senior Consultant*
*Locations: Sunnyvale, CA*
*Duration: Long term Contract*
*Expected experience: 5 to 8 yrs*
*Job Description: *
Contributes to the development, delivery and maintenance of
technology-based business solutions
* Ability to respond to issues and coordinate with stake holders
* Able to plan and organize team activities, prioritize and handle
contingencies to meet set goals
* Ability to do deliver optimum solution and get into constructive
technical discussion with client
*Soft skills:
* Should be self-motivated, must be able to grasp issues quickly and
make educated, critical judgment in the absence of complete information
* Excellent technical skills
* Excellent team player
* Should be able to interact with onsite and offshore teams.
* Must have good oral/written communication skills and pay high
attention to detail.
* Strong programming expertise in Core Java. Detailed requirements below
* Hands on experience publishing and consuming Web Services via SOA
methodologies would be a plus.
* Experience with Oracle relational databases is a plus
* Exposure to Unix and Mac OS X is desired.
* Technical requirements in Core Java:
· Java basics and Java Lang Package (Inheritence,
Polymorphism, String handling, Java Utils)
· Java Serialization and I/O (Serialization, File Operations,
Streams)
· Java Concurrency and Multi threading
· Java Networking
· Java Exception Handling
· Java Collections and Generics
· Java Internals (Concepts of Class, Interface, Packages, JVM
Internals)
· Java - JDBC Programming
· Java - XML and Parsing
· Java - Reflection API
· Java - Commons (JNDI)
· Build Tools (Ant, Maven, Jenkins)
