We have an immediate Openings with Our Direct Client for a Long term contract position *Job Title: Software Engineer, OpenStack R&D (C++ Developer with OpenStack Experience)* *Location: 12+ months* *Duration:* *Richardson, TX* *Position Summary:* Our client is looking for a senior engineer to help us make significant changes to the LTE mobile networks by introducing cloud computing and virtual functions. The candidate will be primarily focused on orchestration and management using OpenStack based solutions. The ideal candidate will have made previous contributions to open source based projects surrounding OpenStack. Additionally, they will have an in-depth understanding of Nova scheduler as well as Neutron and other OpenStack components. *Responsibilities:* • Architect and design multi-vendor orchestration and management technologies on top of OpenStack • Extend OpenStack as needed to work in the LTE network (especially constraints based scheduling) • Work with LTE architects to help explore and understand the full cloudification of the LTE stack *Required Knowledge, Skills:* • In-depth knowledge of and hands on experience with OpenStack. • Excellent coding skills.
