Work outside normal business hours (evenings, weekends and holidays) may be required. Position will be responsible for: installing, patching, upgrading, creating, tuning and maintaining DEP's Oracle databases and data. database management, monitoring and support software and database tools in all DEP computing environments. developing, testing, implementing, maintaining and documenting startup, shutdown, backup and restoration procedures, scripts and jobs for DEP databases. Position must provide routine status reports (weekly at a minimum) and other communications to BIT management in both written and verbal form. Position must also be able to take a lead role in technical meetings with other IT staff. Prior experience upgrading Microsoft Windows and Linux-based Oracle databases, in the below listed versions, is required.
