Kindly respond to this requirement with your consultant resume, contact and current location info to speed up the interview process.* Oracle Apps DBA Location: Atlanta, GA Duration: 9 -12 months (extendable) Client: Verizon Telematics Ballpark Rate range: $ 50/hr AI C2C Responsibilities • Project DBA for the implementation of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 in a 10g/11g RAC environment. • Perform application and database tuning, performance monitoring and investigative troubleshooting for customers. • Undertake installations, upgrades, migrations and patch management of Oracle R12 E-Business Suite environments (Database and Application Server). • Maintaining security and enterprise policy guidelines according to best practices. Recommending new and improved guidelines to ensure high availability and stability. Maintain highest level of SOX and SECURITY standards. • Identifying potential service level problems before they occur and notifying appropriate parties • Design storage strategies around backup and recovery for complex database environments, physical structures, and specialized database applications Maintaining up-to-date plans for disaster recovery and fail over capabilities • Logging support cases as necessary and effectively working with DBMS vendor to resolve issues • Proposing solutions, identifying tools, and generating procedures to ensure an efficient, consistent repeatable environment Education BA/BS Degree in Computer Science or related discipline. Undergraduate degree accepted with equivalent experience Qualifications • Experience 5+ years of experience DBA support of Oracle E-Business Suite R12 using 10g/11g RAC. • 4+ years of experience in Application Server 9i and/or 10g/11g. • 4+ years of experience in Oracle Database 10g and/or 11g. • 2+ years of experience in Linux.
