*Please send me the resumes to **[email protected]* <[email protected]> Data Conversion Lead Duration: 2 years Location: Albany, NY Client is looking for a Data Conversion Lead to work closely with the Data Conversion Manager to coordinate the automated and manual conversion of source system data to the MAS solution. The Data Conversion Lead will work with the source system Technical Leads and the DDI vendor to explain source system data structure and exceptions. The Data Conversion Lead will oversee conversion activities to ensure that all of the appropriate data files and data elements are accurately interpreted and correctly converted. The Data Conversion Lead will work with the DDI vendor to ensure that data quality, integrity, and completeness is maintained or improved during the data extract, transformation, and load processes. Responsibilities - Establish points of contact with source system managers and staff to facilitate discussion of conversion questions and document conversion agreements and questions resolution. - Review the DDI vendor’s conversion schedule. Provide feedback and guidance to ensure the pre-go-live, go-live, and post-go-live conversion efforts are timely and complete. - Work with appropriate source system data owners to verify and obtain approval that any transformed data retains its utility and accuracy. - Work closely with the Change Control Manager to ensure changes being made to the WMS, eMedNY and NYSoH systems are being considered when finalizing the MAS conversion plans and conversion schedule. - Work closely with the Testing Manager and the DDI vendor to establish test case development protocols and to develop conversion data to support the testing effort. - Reviews, approves, and monitors the detailed approach to data conversion that includes prerequisites, sequence of steps, pilot/test activities, and checkpoints passed to achieve full integration. This includes the classification of pilot, phased, and cut-over approaches to system(s) conversion(s) whether it is a parallel, immediate cut-over or phased conversion. - Monitors the efficacy of automated tools to be leveraged as part of the conversion approach to reduce the amount of manual effort by the end user. - Reviews the data relationships, schemas, and transformation rules implemented to achieve conversion. - Contribute to the testing effort as appropriate, including development of end-to-end test scenarios. - Work with the Testing Manager and interface lead to define, collect and if needed generate test data.
