Bachelor degree, preferably in Computer Science, and five (5) years of programming experience or five (5) years of programming experience and three (3) years of relevant business experience 2. Knowledge of programming languages, platforms, and data structures 3. Minimum experience of 5 years with InfoSphere DataStage ETL development. Additionally, working knowledge of other InfoSphere tools, specifically Quality Stage and Information Analyzer, is preferred. 4. Minimum experience of 3 years with DB2 (preferred) or other relational DBMS, including table structure and relationships, and load utilities 5. Ability to serve as a development lead on projects and mentor others 6. Knowledge and use of Data Modeling techniques both logical and physical is preferred 7. Excellent communication skills are required 8. Experience with custom Unix scripts is preferred 9. Experience with BASIC custom programming in DataStage is a plus 10. Working knowledge of COBOL, DB2 and JCL on an IBM MVS mainframe is a plus 11. Experience analyzing customer needs, designing new systems and/or modifying existing systems 12. Healthcare industry experience will be a plus 13. Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects 14. Experience in a position interpreting and communicating information orally and written 15. Experience in a position interacting with all levels of staff internal and external 16. Experience in a position requiring the ability to identify and solve problems 17. Experience in a position requiring the ability to organize and prioritize tasks 18.
