*Position statement:*

Director, Build Hyperion Architecture is the responsible  technical leader
and decision maker for all architecture, including projects, products,
interfaces, transactions, and maintenance to ensure  complete architectural
direction for the Hyperion domain maintenance, projects and initiatives



*Position Summary:*

·         General Responsibilities

o   Coordinate enhancement efforts with business, infrastructure and vendors

o   Engage with business, eliciting feedback and leading enhancement
discussions

o   Responsible for oversight of Hyperion suite of applications including
HFM, Planning, Essbase, FDM, Financial Reporting, Shared Services and
associated data interfaces. Includes production support, data governance,
application configuration, enhancement testing and business continuity
testing.

·         Provide leadership in delivery of project and initiatives.

o   Lead technical delivery of initiatives through the standard methodology
from project approval to deployment.

o   Participate and provide technical leadership to internal and external
partners in strategy / project initiation, architecture, requirements
analysis, design, project management and systems integration activities.

o   Ability to foster strong, collaborative relationships with IT and
business partners, and maintain active involvement in daily work of teams
and its members.

o   Work with the organization's IT Leadership to design and implement
short-term and long-term architecture strategies utilizing industry best
practices for managing technology.

o   Work across teams to define, develop and implement standards, policies
and procedures to ensure the stability of the applications and integrity of
all environments.

o   Responsible for ongoing improvement of technical, analytical, and
procedural tasks.

o   Direct involvement with managing capacity and performance while
maintaining application stability.

o   Work with other IT Directors to provide technical guidance and
integration of backend systems.

o   Responsible for providing input into the release scheduling process
including all maintenance and project releases; escalation point for system
support, provide necessary communication to the architecture teams and IT
leadership.

·         Production Support

o    Support the Consolidations and FP&A teams running monthly, quarterly
and year-end close processes

o    Support FP&A teams running the budget and forecast processes

o    Support the annual audit processes, both internal and external audits

o    Troubleshoot system-related issues and coordinate issue resolution

·         System Administration

o    Lead the Hyperion / database administration teams.

o    Control user access to the Hyperion applications including the
creation and provisioning of user groups and security profiles.

o    Control the process to create, modify, test and promote business
rules, calcs, reports, dashboards, etc., to meet the needs of the business.

o    Coordinate disaster recovery testing for the Hyperion application
suite periodically.

·         Finance Data Governance

o    Control the process to set up and maintain metadata structures across
the Hyperion suite of systems.

o    Enforce data governance policy associated with Hyperion and its
ancillary processes

o    Enforce Standard Operating Procedures related to interfaces, system
access and change management

·         Business Analysis and Project Support

o    Be the system advocate and subject matter expert for the Hyperion
Suite of Systems

o

o    Participate in cross-functional projects as the SME for the Hyperion
products.

o    Coordinate IT activities with Hyperion users, Hyperion administrators,
Infrastructure, Oracle product support with respect to system patching,
upgrades, outages, troubleshooting, code promotion, etc.

Be a proactive risk manager for the Hyperion systems.



·         Skills Required

o    Experience with system governance to include both establishing and
enforcing policy

o    Must be comfortable interacting with management of all levels

o    Excellent project planning and resource coordination experience

o    Ability to facilitate meetings effectively



Required Qualification :

• Requires 10-15 years experience with 3-5 years previous mgmt. experience

• 5 years IT project management experience on Hyperion architecture

• 3-5 years of experience with enterprise methodology practices

• Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with
individuals at all levels in the organization and strong relationship
building abilities.

• Excellent team building and leadership skills.

• Ability to manage third party delivery partner staff within blended team
environment

• Proficient skills in UML

• 3-5 years of proficiency and experience on architecture modeling tools



Education : Master’s Degree

License/Certificate : Oracle/Hyperion

Yrs of related Experience : 10-15+ Yrs

Yrs of Managerial Experience : 4-5+ yrs
