*I have a contract to hire role in Philadelphia, PA*. *Just one onsite interview and then hired (NO PHONE SCREEN).* .They need to be able to convert in 6-12 months Contract To Hire and need to have those two certifications *SCCM Administrator (System Center Configuration Manager)* *Philadelphia, PA* *6-12 Months Contract To Hire* The Network Services Engineer-SCCM position serves as the System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) Administrator responsible for the planning, development and support of our client's enterprise-wide technical architecture and infrastructure, which includes the integration of hardware, systems software and network technologies. This position creates and maintains the SCCM packages, collections, advertisements, queries, and inventory of software packages included in the creation of base desktop configurations. The Network Services Engineer – SCCM provides planning, implementation and administrative support for all initiatives involving the network. Specific Responsibilities: -Creation and maintenance of SCCM packages, collections, advertisements, queries, and inventory software packages included in creation of base desktop configurations. -Monitor, maintain and administer the local SCCM site infrastructure and participate in the monitoring and administration of Global SCCM Infrastructure. -Provide regular status reports and maintain documentation for standard operating procedures. -Perform routine SCCM and Active Directory administration tasks. -Research, test and train other staff on use of new systems management technologies. -Troubleshoot, repair and upgrade all network components and wiring closets. -Establish proper technical documentation and troubleshooting procedures and maintain the database and mapping for network configuration. -Develop and implement backup and recovery methods and procedures for all network devices. -Develop and implement a monitoring procedure for all network devices to include but not be limited to the following traffic analysis, availability, downtime, number of service calls related to the network, and average time to resolve. -Maintain the awareness of key technologies to ensure optimal use of resources. -Maintain awareness and knowledge of industry/vendor technology and trends in order to ensure optimal use and value of the LAN/WAN resources. -Assist in the planning & design for new and/or expansion/upgrade network projects and participate in the installation to meet the requirements. -Analyze all wiring closets, on a regular basis, to keep the networks as enhanced as possible. -Proactively pursue customer service issues and resolve them expediently. -Maintain databases for network configurations. -Accompany installing network vendor’s technician during on-site warrantee service when necessary and when possible limiting the amount of time for out source consultants’ costs. -Attend all Network Team Meetings. -Perform all other duties as assigned. *Minimum Qualifications:* -Bachelor’s degree required. Any and all degree(s) must be from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning. -Five (5) years of experience in the hands-on installation, configuration and maintenance of computer systems, network devices and servers required. -Demonstrated experience on a large multi-node network environment. -At least two (2) years work experience as an Administrator on any version of SCCM or SMS required. -Experience in packaging software for deployment using SMS/SCCM. -CCNA & MCSE certifications required. -Five (5) years’ experience working in a large, multi-node distributed network environment with extensive skills in at least 3 of the following: Solaris, Unix, TCP/IP, LDAP and Cisco components; and the ability to monitor and administer the health of the networks required. -Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and tune an SCCM/SMS environment required. -Demonstrated working knowledge of network and desktop operating systems; troubleshooting hardware and software as it pertains to network availability required. -Demonstrate working knowledge of network and desktop operating systems; troubleshooting hardware and software as it pertains to network availability required. -Strong problem solving, critical thinking and decision making skills required. -Thorough working knowledge of local area networks and solid troubleshooting skills in relation to network operations required. -Demonstrated ability to communicate clearly and effectively both orally and in writing with excellent interpersonal skills required. -Strong organizational skills and attention to detail required. ______________________________________________________________________________ Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related discipline preferred. one or more of the following system certifications – CNE, MCP, Network + and A+ are preferred Regards: Sam Williams - Recruiting Manager ITBrainiac Inc.
