*Role : **Netapp Administrator* *Experience: 5-7 years* *Location: Mountain View, CA* *Duration : 6+ months* *Job Description:* NetBackup and Storage JD Netbackup (Primary Skill) Bachelor degree with at least 5 years of experience Strong Netbackup skills and experience required Experience in converting tape based backup to backup appliance Storage administration experience is also desirable Diagnosing, analysing, performance management and capacity planning Configuring Backup/Recovery policies and maintain record of changes to policies Implementing ILM, Archival solution as per client requirement Implementing Best Practices and Recommendations (Data Depute) Resolving escalated issue and creating the K.E.D.B, Conducting Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on Severity 1 issues Updating the design documents w.r.t to changes implemented Troubleshooting, configuration management, Implement changes. Client configuration or de-configuration support Coordinate hardware and software vendor technical support Master / Media server configuration Hardware configurations (Tape, Drive, VTL, etc) Create / delete / modify storage pools Updating operation handbook / Runbooks. Automation of backup jobs through scripting Restarting of Failed jobs or running the jobs manually (whenever required) Storage Skills: (Secondary Skill) LUN/Meta device configuration (creation, deletion, allocation) Host systems configuration in the array manager (addition, modification) Array event analysis Mirror / snapshot configuration FC / HBA configuration in the host server Multi-path configuration Port configuration Zone configuration Thanks&Regards, Davis Idexcel Technologies.
