Specific Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance activities, including backups Manage Active Directory, DNS, IIS and related technologies. Maintain and improve virtual and non-virtual environment efficiency Provide administrations services for servers, desktops, printers, wireless routers, remote access system Support developer machines: MacBooks, dual booting Mac OS and Windows 8.1 Support current operational configuration Support user desktops and laptops using automated tools Support Citrix Remote Access System Develop and maintain system configuration documentation Support developers in assigned projects Preparation of server templates Esxi host patching OTRS (ticketing system) administration Microsoft System Center administration Job Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in a computer related field plus 5+ years as a Linux administrator Broad knowledge and experience inLinux technology and platform Ability redesign architecture in a mixed and virtualized environment supported by Linux Excellent skills in troubleshooting and resolving system problems in a timely manner Demonstrated ability to manage configuration in a complex virtual environment. Demonstrated ability to “best practices” to system administration activities Ability support migration to a virtualized/thin-client desktop infrastructure.
