*QA AnalystPhiladelphia, PA3-6 Month Contract-To-Hire* *MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE WITH SELENIUM AND Health Care* **Must be US Citizens or GC Holders OR EAD-GC Holders** ** *Must be able to interview f2f on a short notice!* Description: This position is responsible for software testing activities and maintenance development for a selected Heath Sciences business unit. The Business Unit is served primarily from our Philadelphia, PA offices. This position is a hands-on role where the candidate partners with development teams to release quality software. Accountabilities: 1. Recent experience as a hands on QA Analyst or SET for an agile project team (must have *done* testing automation within the past few months. 2. Responsible for agile QA deliverables for projects associated with the business unit as guided by senior QA staff. 3. Responsible for creating automated test and/or manual functional test and may be involved in providing support for load/performance testing or other types of tests. 4. Candidate will interact with a team of both on and offshore test analysts. 5. Responsible for providing data for test metric reporting and QA/Test Status. 6. Responsible for test script creation and execution along with defect tracking. 7. May provide suggestions for improvement with the aid of senior QA staff. 8. Provides input to test estimates. 9. Work with existing QA staff, business, and development teams to ensure quality of products delivered. 10. Candidate will stay current with trends in Software Quality. 11. Partner with development and business teams to develop and maintain high standards for testing products 12. Swiftly acts on testing tasks and provides results. 13. Identifies and communicates issues and concerns to senior QA staff. 14. Provide support for development maintenance tasks. Qualifications 15. 1-3+ years of experience in the software quality discipline with commercial, customer facing software products (or SET) 16. Candidate *MUST* have hands on test automation creation/execution experience on agile projects 17. Solid hands-on agile software testing experience 18. 1+ years of hands on test automation experience or development experience 19. 1+ exposure to load/performance testing (desired) 20. 1+ exposure to working with distributed teams (desired) 21. Industry certifications (CSQA, ISTQB, CSTB, Six Sigma, etc.) a plus. Practical experience is a must. 22. Experience with and knowledge of Health Care systems a plus. 23. Experience with working with offshore vendors required 24. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 25. Experienced and comfortable with interacting with QA and project team staff. 26. Candidate should have demonstrated quantifiable improvements to software testing practices 27. Detail oriented - hands on test abilities is key 28. Understanding of software quality management principles (tracking, analysis, reporting, problem resolution, training) desired 29. Strong desire to learn and grow under the guidance of senior QA and development staff 30. Initiative to research and stay current with technology trends Preferred experience with technologies/tools to include: cloud-hosted, Selenium or Ruby/Watir, mobile device testing (iOS, Android, Blackberry, etc.), QC, Rally, QTP, LoadRunner, JMeter, Fiddler, SOAP UI, REST/SOAP testing, API testing, VDI, Cloud technology.
