Initial projects will be to build the core infrastructure and frameworks to support applications such as end-of- day risk, intra- day risk for FX and Interest Rates, scenario VAR, entitlement support, application monitoring support, data quality management. *Key Tech skills:Core Java, experience building frameworks, experience building real time trading or risk systems, multi-threaded systems development, deep understanding of java libraries like collections, concurrency, locking, thread pools, java testing skills (like Junit or Mockito), strong data analysis skills. * Any experience with big data like Hadoop, Cassandra or MongoDB is a huge plus. *Realtime Risk application or Realtime Threading application* Must be hands on coder in above technology. Participate in design idea sessions and perform peer reviews. Ability to collaborate with other technology teams who will use this technology. Strong problem solving skills, design skills, work independently, self starter Experience delivering large scale real time distributed systems Investment banking front office risk system development experience. Efficient and strong communicator of ideas and strong problem solving skills. Capable of describing practical day-to-day analysis techniques used in order to achieve goals. Strong data analysis skills in complex software environments. Responsibility Work as part of a small team in design and implementation of various components in SRP Work with business analysts and project managers Communicate design ideas and take part in peer reviews Interact with other IT developers who are users of said components Skills and Attributes Required: Common Requirement Pro-active, self-starter, able to pick up an issue, and take ownership through to successful delivery Efficient communications with global team members and other colleagues Team player Develop and unit test code in a rapid moving and changing environment Strong design skills and ability to work independently and in a team setting.
