In addition, this position will be involved in the design and implementation of custom SharePoint solutions that solve business goals and objectives. The SharePoint Architect will also work closely with business users to accurately assess their challenges and objectives, and then translate those into requirements and ultimately an end solution satisfying the needs of both IT and Business. *MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:* · 8 years minimum SharePoint development experience required. · Proficiency working with SharePoint WSS 3.0, SharePoint 2007 and SharePoint 2010/2013 platforms required. · Proficiency in .NET, Visual Studio, SharePoint Designer required. · Proficiency in C#, XML, XSLT, CSS, HTML, IIS, T-SQL, and JavaScript required. · Proficiency in a graphics tool. (i.e. Photoshop, Paint Shop Pro, etc.) required. · Demonstrate a solid understanding of Active Directory and how it ties to SharePoint security. · Demonstrate a basic understanding of Object Oriented Programming. · Demonstrated ability to quickly learn and apply various programming techniques and processes. *PRINCIPLE JOB FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* · Manage and develop intranet projects. · Manage branding for intranet and extranet applications. · Develop web-parts, sub-sites, and other various SharePoint components. · Promote SharePoint as a collaboration tool. · Maintain code and documentation. · Work with business owners and end users to ensure a quality product. · Implementation of an SDLC that fits both SharePoint development needs as well as compliance requirements. · Willingly performs all other duties and projects as assigned. *INTERPERSONAL SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:* · To ensure the accurate translation of a user’s needs into functional and technical requirements, excellent written and verbal communication skills are required. · Candidate must have the ability to multitask effectively. · Must be self-motivated and also work in a team environment. · Requires a high energy level and strong sense of urgency. · Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. · Requires a wide degree of creativity and latitude. · May lead and direct the work of others.
