*Short Description:* **This requirement is for 3 separate, but similar positions** Selected candidate will participate in a project that initially involves about 6 months of Data Migration, then will move on to contribute to the .NET Development effort *Complete Description:* **This requirement is for 3 separate, but similar positions** Selected candidate will participate in a project that initially involves about 6 months of Data Migration, then will move on to contribute to the .NET Development effort The candidate should have all of the following requirements to be considered for a position on the data migration team. *Experience / Skills* • 6+ years of software development experience • 6+ years of object oriented programming experience (Visual Basic, Java, C#, VB.NET) • 6+ years using Microsoft SQL Server o Read, understand and write custom queries o Manipulate data from one data source to another data source • Ability to read, understand and interpret legacy code (VB6, C# and VB.Net) • Ability to produce technical and non-technical documentation based off of legacy code • Must be a self-starter • Must be able to work independently • Experience working in a team oriented environment • Experience working with multiple team members (BA, Developer, DBA, System Architect, PM) • Well organized with great attention to detail • Great communication Skills o Speaks clearly and is easy to understand o Can communicate effectively with multiple team members at a given time o Email communications are clear and to the point o Not afraid to ask questions or ask for help o Will ask for additional work once assigned work is completed • Can adhere to tight deadlines and due dates • Prepared and prompt to any and all meetings • Familiar following a SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) • Data Migration experience a plus • SCRUM / AGILE experience a plus (Project is executed using two week sprints, Monday to the following Friday) *Skill* *Yrs of Exp * software development experience 6 object oriented programming experience (Visual Basic, Java, C#, VB.NET) 6 MS SQL Server 2005 – 2012 6 .NET (1.1 – 4.5) 6 VB.NET 6 ASP.NET 6 Visual Studio 2003 – 2013 6 C# 5 SharePoint 2013 1 Enterprise Architecture 3 N-Tier 3 Classic ASP and VB 6.0 3 WCF 3 Ability to produce technical and non-technical documentation based off of legacy code 3 TFS 2013 1 SCRUM / AGILE experience Data Migration experience Thanks and Regards Rahman *Technical Recruiter* Techwire Solutions Inc Jersey City, New Jersey *201 428 6486 (Direct)* [email protected] www.techwiresol.com *Disclaimer:* Under Bills.1618 Title III passed by the 105th U.S. Congress this mail cannot be considered Spam as long as we include contact information.
