Mandatory Skills:         Financial Services Logical Data Model, Data
Modeling tools like Erwin and SQL query


Key Requirements
Financial Services Data Experience and specifically Investment Management
Logical modeling experience
Experience with a Financial Services Logical Data Model
Technical experience – specifically with Data Modeling tools like Erwin and
SQL    query skillsets.
Strong Excel and SharePoint skills
Ability to employ (or learn) logical data modeling concepts
Ability to use ERWin, Embarcadero, or other high-end data modeling software
Solid understanding of asset management concepts and terms
Responsible for enterprise-wide data architecture design. Will also carry
out data modeling and develop strategy. Responsibilities include, but may
not be limited to, the following:
Working with business clients to define and prioritize data requirements
including data attributes, relationships and rules.
Develops enterprise data models to meet business information requirements.
Develops and implements enterprise-wide data principles and data modeling
processes.
Recognizes and resolves conflicts between business data concepts and
definitions.
Develops enterprise-wide strategy of how data will be sourced and stored.
Develops enterprise-wide strategies for data access tools.
Works with database administrators and developers to transform data models
and data requirements into a physical database design.
Works with clients and IT management to develop recommendations for
infrastructure upgrades.
Maintains enterprise-wide integrity of data by ensuring that data currency
and data cleansing procedures are implemented and followed.
Leads or contributes to the development of enterprise plans for business
intelligence and other data related initiatives.
Develops guidelines and standards for cataloging and maintaining data.
Defines and documents the current state of the enterprise data architecture.
