Position: .Net Developer Regional Area: Los Angeles or Orange County, CA Duration: (12 months+) Contract to Hire Interview Process: 1st Phone, 2nd In-Person NO H1B I. General Description Responsible for the analysis, development, and support of enterprise systems. II. General Responsibilities Develops and supports strategic business systems/applications using development methodologies. Organizes, plans, and schedules project responsibilities to meet development requirements. Conducts and participates in design meetings to gather user requirements from business units. Analyzes application and system requirements; participates in developing system architecture on various projects III. Specific Responsibilities 1. Design, develop, program, test, and implement applications and modifications to applications to meet the business requirements 2. Provide technical guidance to employees for design, specification, coding and testing. 3. Develop technical design documentation as assigned. 4. Assist in providing solutions to current processing conflicts and problems 5. Lead small to medium sized development projects 6. Analyze and recommend alternative solutions for system enhancement and problem resolution projects. 7. Interpret business requirements accurately to develop technical specification for development. 8. Perform database design and programming, as necessary. 9. Troubleshoot advanced data integrity problems. 10. Schedule and perform application releases to minimize negative customer impact. IV. Skills and Qualifications A. Technical skills (Added - JQuery, HTML5 web services, and front-end UI design / build skills.) 1. 5-10 years experience software / web development. 2. Advanced knowledge and experience with the Microsoft Visual Studio .NET development platform, including the following languages: ASP.NET, VB.NET, C#.NET. 3. Skilled with various web development skills such as JavaScript, AJAX, HTML5, XML, DHTML, XSL, XSLT, CSS, 4. Advanced knowledge of the following: IIS, COM / COM+, Web Services architecture and design, Microsoft SQL Server. 5. 5-10 years experience with relational database design and implementation. 6. Intimate knowledge and practical application of relational database rules of normalization. A Bachelor’s degree in Management of Information Systems, Computer Information Systems, or similar from a four-year college or university is preferred. A minimum of five years related work experience is required. Organized and accurate.
