- Installation of DB2 instances on AIX,Linux,Windows
- Installation and maintenance DB2 environment
- Includes creating databases, buffer pools, logical and physical
design of database storages using DMS/SMS tablespaces.
- capacity planning for the existing database when the data was
supposed to increase and new schemas added.
- Knowledge of logical/physical design for the datawarehouse.
- Formulate backup/recovery strategy.
- Troubleshoot locking, loading issues, connectivity, degraded
performance
- Performance tuning, tuning queries
- Creation of federated links.
- HADR.
