*Need GC/GC-EAD/US Citizens only* *Position: Business Intelligence Consultant(ETL, DWH)* *Location: Durham, NC* *Duration: 1 year with possible extension* *Skills and Experience:* · Senior BI consultant with strong background and 7+ years’ experience in Business Intelligence and Data Warehousing domain · Experienced in working with business users and should be customer centric, good analytical skills, identifying gaps, validating and prototyping requirements to ensure requirements meet business partner needs · Strong analytical skills to understand impact of changes and downstream dependencies · Experienced in working with data modelling, multi-dimensional, star and snow flake models, SCD’s, time-series analysis, etc · Experienced in creating technical design specifications, testing, release management documents, conducting formal test cycles - unit/integration/user testing, knowledge transfer and support hand-off · Good hands-on problem solving skills in BI, data related quality, ETL and performance issues · Detail-oriented, hard-working, self-motivated, collaborates and works well with team and business partners *Primary Technical Skills:* · 5+ years of hands-on core experience in ETL design and development with various ETL tools. Highly experienced in Business Objects Data Services, Oracle PL/Sql, scripting, scheduling tools and good to have experience with Informatica, Data Stage, other ETL tools and relational databases · Requires solid 5+ years of experience with Oracle and Sql Server database, TOAD, ODBC connectivity. Good experience in using external flat file sources, FTP process, · FTP and DOS/ Shell batch scripting · Experienced with job scheduling tools, understanding job dependencies, data refresh and job optimization techniques, Creating Excel Pivot / Workbooks, Windows files and formatting · (CSV, Fixed format, tab delimited etc, UTF8 vs ASCII ) · 3+ years of hands-on experience with developing BI models, reports, dashboards.
