Immediate Need For Reporting Analytics With Strong Teradata, BI, Cognos, Tableau - Interview And Start ASAP!! Job Title: Reporting Analytics With Strong Teradata, BI, Cognos, Tableau Location: Newark, DE Duration: 12+ Months *Reporting Analytics w/ strong Teradata experience. BI experience: Cognos, Tableau (big plus).* Job Summary Key requirements are strong attention to detail, especially for purposes of ensuring accurate reporting and presentation and formatting of reports in a professional manner; the ability to successfully manage multiple reporting requests in a deadline-driven environment; advanced analytic skills and the ability to translate data to business contexts. A successful candidate for this role will have background in business intelligence tools, data warehousing, MIS reporting, strong proficiency as Teradata developer, and strong expertise in SQL queries, stored procedures, Teradata Macro and will possess profound technical skills in data manipulation. Responsibilities will include: Automate repeated adhoc reports using business intelligence tools like Cognos, tableau etc in ways that reduces the reliance on manual effort and automates information delivery process. Develop new ways of bringing together complex sets of analytics and business intelligence into compelling data visualizations, info graphics and other creative ways to tell our story. Identify and implement quality controls on critical business metrics ensuring highest degree of confidence in our reporting metrics. Develop an in-depth understanding of our data sources, tables and data relationships in a short period of time. Design, create, implement, modify, maintain and support existing reports. Schedule and/or deliver reports based on the specified timetable (Daily, Weekly, Monthly etc) in a data warehouse environment. Reviews for accuracy and completeness of reports. Create user manuals and /or training guides for the end users using DMIO reporting solutions Internal documentation of processes, policies and procedures. Demonstrated ability to manage and meet assignment deadlines through personal initiative on several simultaneously assigned tasks. Ability to manage a large queue of work with daily shifting priorities and to provide regular status reports as requested.
