*Position* Quality Assurance Tester *Location* Northridge, CA USA *Duration* 5+ Months *Description* *JOB DUTIES:* Coordinates changes with developers, technical writers and end users,Performs unit, integration and/or regression testing *POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:* Project/Testing Management: • Design test cases based on functional requirements and technical specifications for multiple application platforms: Sales Force, SAP • Execute functional, integrated, regression, conversion, performance test scripts • Document results including managing and reporting defect resolution *Report to QA Test Lead Communications:* • Communicate status and issues to the Test Team Lead. • Facilitate timely issue resolution and escalate appropriately. *JOB EXPERIENCE:* • Knowledge of test methodologies and processes • 3+ years of testing and application experience • Experience in developing and executing test scripts in a regulated environment • Business knowledge and experience • 2+ years SQL knowledge • Some knowledge of applications development and infrastructure technologies including enterprise wide application experience (e.g., SAP, Siebel, PeopleSoft, etc.) *SKILLS/COMPETENCIES:* • A general understanding of Enterprise architecture and how environments work within the testing effort • Understanding of quality regulations and testing techniques required for the medical device industry • Demonstrated strong skills in using Microsoft desktop applications, such as Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Visio, etc • Demonstrated analytical thinking, process mapping, process improvement and problem solving skills • Demonstrated strong communication skills (oral, business writing, presentations and listening) • Strong influence skills to assist in bringing about necessary process improvements • Ability to interact effectively with all levels of management; develop and deliver presentations up to the Director level in the organization • High energy and motivation with an ability to adapt to change • Knowledge of the HP Mercury Test Tool Suite (i.e., Quality Center, Quick Test Professional, and Performance Center) • Ability to provide after hours and weekend support • Preferences include: o Global program/project experience o Experience with multiple system development life cycles testing strategies (e.g., waterfall, agile, iterative, etc.) *Thanks & Regards* *Naga Sarma Vemuri* *PH: 408-668-8260* *Email: [email protected] <[email protected]>* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
