*USER EXPERIENCE ARCHITECTS (3 SPOTS)*

Pittsburgh, PA

6 month contract



Key skills: *User Interface design, HTML/CSS, JQuery, Photoshop, web
application, e-commerce, excellent communication and presentation skills.*



*The client is looking for the following background and skills:*

* Bachelor degree, focus on HCI or relevant prior experience;

* At least 3-5 years web-based information architecture or interaction
design experience with a focus on website, mobile and eCommerce;

* Solid foundation in web-based technologies including HTML/CSS, jQuery,
Browser/OS compliance, high-level 508 compliance;

* Prior experience designing for (and across) varied integrated business
systems for both internal and external audiences (content management
systems, eCommerce systems, marketing automation platforms);

* Proficiency with UX tools (Visio, Axure, Morae, MindMap, others);

* Experience using Photoshop, Illustrator, and the MS Office suite;

* Experience participating in research and testing efforts;

* The ability to lead and participate in discovery/UX sessions;

* The ability to educate internal teams throughout the business on best
practices/standards, with the ability to effectively drive the
standardization and integration of those recommendations;

* Ability to work within a cross-functional team of content specialists,
digital designers and IT to developed highly optimized user experiences
across digital channels;

* Exceptional understanding of UX best practices, and how they apply to web
and application development needs across varied projects (website,
eCommerce, mobile interfaces, digital marketing);

* Understanding of web technologies to drive interface and experiential
recommendations;

* Strong understanding of communication, interaction, and motion design
with how it apply to web technologies in various delivery channels;

* Solid understanding of creative and development disciplines and how to
apply UX principles;

* Ability to manage multiple projects across teams, including timelines,
deliverables, budgets and hours;

* Understanding of analytics, and how UX efforts lead to measureable KPIs
and measurement;

* Ability to quickly and effectively learn business process and how they
apply to digital efforts;

* Ability to understand scope and requirements to drive innovative
solutions;

* Anticipate potential project problems and create solutions or contingency
plans; and

* Strong team player, with ability to mentor and educate team members
across the business.



*These contractors will assist in the following:*

* Designs pattern development, standardization;

* Navigation & search standards, implementation;

* Controlled vocabulary system development;

* Browser and interaction design standards;

* Persona, scenario, use case development & standardization;

* Prototypes, sitemaps, and wireframes;

* Content and interface strategies, along with how they map to user
personas/requirements and measurable KPIs;

* Content and interface requirements for both structured and unstructured
content;

* Functional requirement development, documentation;

* Participate in creative concept development including (but not limited
to) discovery sessions, user profiles/personas, user scenarios,
organizational models, task models, features list;

* Participate in project definition activities including business
requirement gathering, competitive analysis/assessment, secondary research,
voice of customer sessions, user testing, user surveying; and

* Create process flows, site maps, wireframes, screen prototypes and
functional specifications.
