*Req # - Position* C#.Net Programmer (Healthcare Domain) HL7 OR HIE OR DICOM OR HIX *Location* Rochester, MINNESOTA *Duration* 7 months *Description* Specific Job Details: • This is a project to help build and expand software used to assist with traditional and proton beam therapy. • The environment is Microsoft SQL Server, C#.Net and web development. • Candidate will work with a team to develop solutions to support Radiation Oncology. • These systems are used to support workflow, as data anlytics and QA software that will be instrumental in providing high quality care for patients being treated by both traditional Radiation as well as patients being treated by the new Proton Beam therapy. • The applications are a combination of web and client server applications. • The applications will need to interface with other systems at Client to display and default information. • We are looking for candidates with these skills that can hit the ground running quickly. Description • The Analyst/Programmer contributes to the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of custom system software, and/or the installation and maintenance of purchased systems software, as well as the configuration and support of hardware systems. • The Analyst/Programmer regularly reviews applications and makes modifications and/or updates of a single system application or basic software and their associated hardware at multiple sites to ensure currency and functionality within the established environment. • The Analyst/Programmer produces and maintains documentation such as systems requirements, designs, resource inventories and plans as requested. • Works with colleagues and customers to resolve issues, documents resolution, and communicates resolution with customer. • May interface with vendor support service groups or other external support teams to ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance. • Must have knowledge of system design principles, software development methodologies, and computer programming and have had exposure to managing both custom developed and vendor-supplied application. • Additional must-have qualifications are: strong verbal and written Communication skills, project management and problem solving skills, and basic IT knowledge of hardware and software systems.
