Position: Informatica Team Lead

Location: Richmond, VA

Duration: 12+Months





*Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence Developer*
*Serves as technical expert responsible for the design and implementation
of Business solutions applications.
*Sets and administers standards.
*Produces documented application frameworks or architectures.
*Researches development in assigned technology, determines business
requirements, proposes changes, develops migration and implementation
plans, and may execute projects.
*Provides input into the technology plan for the IT organization, and
ensures that plans for their assigned applications integrate effectively
with other aspects of the technical infrastructure.
*Advises management on application and supporting technology purchases and
on future projects or environment upgrades/modifications.
*Take an active role in the cross-functional design and be an advocate for
the ETL team. *Foster strong relationships with data architecture, database
administration and data consumers (e.g., reporting and interfaces
teams) to design warehouse/BI data structures.
*Lead the design of the ETL solution; oversee the ETL low-level design and
design phase deliverables; ensure that the design conforms to the overall
ETL Architecture.
Expected Qualifications:
*8 - 10 Years of IT Experience.
*Minimum 6-8 years of industry experience with an emphasis on ETL for
business intelligence / data warehousing solutions in the insurance
services industry.
*Hands on Informatica ETL and Unix Shell scripting Experience - 3-4 years.
*Strong database development, SQL, physical database design and data
modeling experience *Must have multiple full lifecycle project experience
in developing ETL solutions as a developer, architect;

*Experience managing multiple concurrent, complex projects.
*Excellent communication skills.
*Strategic and tactical thinking.
*Strong focus on providing service to the customer.
*Mastery in business process and application design.
*Out of the box thinking; Flexible / Critical thinking skills a must.
*Able to sell concepts and designs / benefits to multiple audiences.
*Able to work independently and in diverse, co-located and remote teams.
*Strong Foundation in broad range of technology areas including IT
Security, Networking, Application Development, Project Management, Desktop
/ Server Management, etc.
*Strong bias for execution.
