Role: ORACLE DBA Location: Albany, NY
Duration 24 Months Local Prefer only Provide DBA support and management services for Oracle High-Availability Databases within the Public Safety Cluster and ITS Enterprise. 1. Support the implementation of High-Availability (HA) Oracle databases within the Public Safety Cluster and ITS Enterprise database environment. 2. Allocate storage, setup and monitor database backups, create database instances and schemas, implement maintenance plans, and maintain database security. 3. Use DBA tools to monitor, diagnose, and fix issues within the Integrated Justice Production HA database and ITS Enterprise environments. 4. Interact consistently and continuously with other DBA staff to provide on-the-job training and assistance in performance tuning activities. 5. Work off-hours occasionally to support Database maintenance, operational procedures, and initiatives. 6. Be available as required for rotational on-call support to maintain 24x7coverage for the various database environments.
