Location- new haven CT *Reply me on [email protected] <[email protected]>* Skills/Experience requirements: · 10+ years of overall IT experience · Intermediate Windows Server Administration experience (Win 2003 Server & >)(Win 7 client) · Working knowledge of Virtual Environments (desktop & server) · Intermediate level of Applications Solutions Design experience · Intermediate level of Middleware (WebSphere App Server, IIs, Tomcat, etc) experience · Solid understanding of Network/Communications Topology (routers, firewalls, FTP & TCP/IP protocols, RDP, DNS, Terminal Services) · Solid understanding of Software Development Life Cycle · Ability to multi task between Project Development and day to day steady state KTLO duties. · Determine application delivery failure root cause using various windows utilities (fiddler, perfmon, etc) & app diagnostics · Some scripting experience (VB, Java, PowerShell, SQL, Kshell scripts) for app monitoring or prod code promotion. · Experience configuring and using application and system monitoring systems · SQL Server (connectivity, transaction logs operation) relational db experience · Intermediate level of system performance analysis and capacity planning experience · Expert ability towards configuration and Interpretation of windows servers logs and application specific logs · Excellent business and technical communications skills · Leadership skills & self-motivated · Experience with ITIL · Ability to think outside of the box, create/ drive new processes towards continuous improvement. · Analyze application architecture and its infrastructure components as to provide technical improvements to increase support efficiency and provide the highest level of system stability.
