*Please send me the resumes to [email protected] <[email protected]>* *Title:* IT Compliance Analyst/Manager *Location:* San Francisco, CA *Duration:* 6 Months+ *IT Compliance Analyst/Manager (Contract)* The IT Compliance Analyst/Manager assists management in defining the control objectives and monitoring compliance efforts. You will review test findings within the Internal/External Audit Team, facilitate the remediation of control gaps, and escalate possible critical issues to senior management. You will also identify areas of potential improvement for key processes and procedures and support the management of the related processes and procedures. Additional responsibilities include: working with different business owners on implementation, execution and compliance with entity level controls. Additionally, you will evaluate, review and analyze data pertaining to information systems functions relative to IT compliance. *Essential duties and responsibilities Include but are not limited to the following:* - Responsible for facilitating IT management’s documentation updates and completion of management assessment for all in-scope Client IT processes. - Provide guidance, support and subject matter expertise to the IT Governance and Compliance function, who in turns, works directly with other IT management in documenting/testing controls and remediating identified deficiencies. - Works closely with the internal/external auditor to collaboratively determine how to best resolve identified IT deficiencies. - Perform compliance reviews of management testing of internal controls to ensure compliance with the required test plans and documentation requirements. - Monitor the testing progress of process owners to ensure timely completion, research the risk and impact of control findings, recommend remediation plans to management, develop time lines for re-testing and ensure documentation requirements are met. - Perform process reviews to evaluate current business practices, internal control structure, existing documentation, and implement any necessary changes. - Identify impact of changes in the control environment due to changes in regulations, internal company policies, system enhancements or implementations, company reorganizations and make determinations for changes to existing controls or adding new controls when necessary. - Work closely with internal and external auditors to coordinate audit timing, control finding remediation and re-testing, and reporting. - Prepare monthly reporting for management status updates. - Prepare quarterly reporting for senior management. - Track updates needed to the internal reporting tool. - Develop training materials. *Requirements:* - Five years of experience in Information Services including knowledge of auditing principles, auditing standards, IIA standards, PCAOB, GXP, and Sarbanes-Oxley requirements. - Ability to interpret regulations and laws and communicate effectively to all levels of the organization. - General knowledge of business systems, databases (Oracle, SQL, etc.), operating systems and network operating system, with a strong desire to learn more about these and other technologies. - Hands-on knowledge of audit working paper organization and preparation, including test and remediation plans and supporting documentation. - Hands-on knowledge of auditing applications such as Quest Auditor and Quest Reporter. - The IT Compliance Analyst must have experience in Information Services including knowledge of auditing principles, auditing standards, IIA standards, PCAOB, GXP, and Sarbanes-Oxley. *Communication & Interpersonal Skills:* - Strong written and oral communication skills. - Strong presentation and interpersonal skills. - Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities. - Able to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment. - Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results. - Excellent organizational skills and the ability to balance several on-going projects simultaneously. - Ability to communicate ideas in both technical and user-friendly language. - Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. *Education:* - Bachelor degree in life science, computer science or related degree. - 7 years of relevant experience in the pharmaceutical or health care industry, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. - Licenses or Certifications: CSOX/CSOXP (required), CITC/CITCP (optional) Thanks, Luke *TRUGlobal Inc.* | [email protected]| Off: (650) 425 7342 | Fax: +1 (650) 403 4500 -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
