Responsibilities will include:1. Develop a comprehensive QA project plan that takes into account all required work, constituencies and resources.2. Create comprehensive testing plans for functional testing and load testing of planned system enchantments.3. Design, implement, document, and maintain test scripts and test tools used to perform unit tests, regression tests, and load tests, based on the selected tools.4. Execute upon testing plans by performing white-box and black-box testing.5. Through the execution of test plans, identify and document system issues and bugs6. Meet regularly with the project manager, project sponsors, and Technology Unit staff to communicate progress, issues, and next steps.Mandatory Skill/ExpertiseThe candidate must have a minimum of at least 8 years testing experience. Experience leading a testing team will be a plus.The candidate must have strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies including ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>.Demonstrable strong working knowledge of SQL and experience with SQL Server 2005 and 2008.Familiarity with Microsoft Visual Studio Team System 2008 Test Edition and Test Load Agent.Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a solid customer service orientation are essential. (Sample written documentation prepared by the candidate including test plans should be provided with the resume).Strong capacity for logical thinking, with the ability to understand complex applications, must be a creative problem solver.Naturally bright; ability to consistently deliver top-level results in a team environment.BS in Computer Science (or equivalent) is required.Must be able to work independently and in a team environment.Desirable Skill/Expertise Programming experience with ASP.NET <http://ASP.NET>(C#), HTML, and JavaScript.Experience with Mercury products, such as Mercury Quality Center and LoadRunner.
