Description/Comment: Lead UX/UI design for one of 7 small cross-functional VS Digital Platform product teams. Each team’s objective is to drive innovation and performance optimization for an area of victoriassecret.com. Intimately understand the inner workings of the product, competitive space and the customer. Work on a monthly release schedule, utilizing an Agile/Lean UX methodology to identify, develop, and iterate customer-facing enhancements. What are the top 3 things you look for in a candidate? 1. Strong sense & understanding of visual & functional best practices (portfolio with examples) 2. Articulate and ability to collaborate well as a team 3. Self-motivated Please provide background on the department and the team they will be working with. Working with a cross-functional team which includes a Product Owner, Project Analyst, Quality Assurance, Front-End Developer, Backend Developer. Collaborating with all to ideal was to enhance and innovate the site. What are some things that would stand out from candidates and what are some disqualifiers? Work samples would show the product. Discussing the thinking process will show how they think and the decisions that were made and why. What is your timeline for reviewing, interviewing, and hiring a candidate? asap What would a typical day workload look like? Varies depending on where in the process they are. But, would be either, ideating, laying out ideas, exploring the competitive market, sharing ideas with the team, discussing functionality, working with the developers on the build, validating the build.
