Roles and Responsibilities:
Cognos Developer will be responsible for modifying existing code and if
needed develop new code, to support existing Peregrine reporting and expand
the Service Level Operations (SLO) reporting portfolio across level I, II,
and III production. This individual will also be integral in the
publication of MIS reporting across level I, II, and III production work.
The individual should be well versed and experienced with lining up
business objectives with Cognos product output. The Cognos Business
Intelligence developer will also have responsibility for assisting in the
further building/development of business intelligence reports and
dashboards. These components are based on IT Service Management and
operational performance metrics. This includes new report development,
meeting with other team members, and presenting output. Advanced Cognos
Developer skills, Cognos Report Studio, Framework Manager, Cognos
Connection, Transformer (OLAP), and Query Studio are required. Throughout
the process, the Cognos developer will document extensively the build
environment and publish once complete.
