Specialists are responsible for answering questions or resolving computer problems for clients in person, via telephone or from a remote location. *Senior Project Manager Responsibilities and Requirements:* - The Senior Project Manager is responsible for directly managing the development resources on multiple medium and large-sized software development projects. This position will report to an Associate Director within the Professional Services Project Management team. - In addition, Senior Project Managers are expected to maximize profitability through superior client consulting and collaboratively working with the development team. Key responsibilities include directing and evaluating project vision and strategy, accountability for project completion and team management, defining and driving project deliverables, and facilitating project team meetings. Senior Project Managers must have strong consulting and client partnering skills, extensive experience managing all phases of the software development lifecycle on a multitude of professional services engagements and actively mentor other project managers. - Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects. - Effectively partner with clients and necessary internal teams to successfully deliver projects - Ensure quality of delivery within projects, adherence to the delivery methodologies (deliveries, new development, enhancements and support) - Project risk and issue management and escalation - Facilitate the governance of the delivery methodologies (process, procedures and templates). - Drive the pre-sales process of existing clients - Accurately forecast resource and revenue for existing client projects and opportunities - Lead oversight of day to day project and program control of a multi-location/function team - Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement application enhancements - Work with cross functional teams on strategic initiatives and improvements - Provide input for production related issues - Proactively identify new opportunities to improve the effectiveness of the program (increase revenue, increase conversion rate, increase service utilization logins, increase quality) - Coordinate post-production support for releases and enhancements - Ability to work occasional weekends and varied schedule - 7/24 on call availability for resolving high severity issues during project go-lives *Senior Project Manager Education and Experience* - Four year degree - Continuing Education or Professional Training in Software Development or related area - 7+ years of related professional services experience, in roles of increasing responsibility - Direct, client facing consulting experience on professional services engagements of greater than $250,000 - Excellent leadership, coaching and communication skills - Negotiation skills - Significant experience in delivery of Web based application development / ecommerce projects - Experience with delivering projects based on the hybris and/or ATG platforms - Up to 25% travel to our other offices or client locations - Solid consulting and communication skills - Manages the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects - Effectively partner with clients and necessary internal teams to successfully deliver projects - Ensure quality of delivery within projects, adherence to the delivery methodologies (deliveries, new development, enhancements and support) - Project risk and issue management and escalation - Facilitate the governance of the delivery methodologies (process, procedures and templates) - Drive the pre-sales process of existing clients - Accurately forecast resource and revenue for existing client projects and opportunities Regards, *Sara Wilson* - Staffing Manager Direct : 646-340-0603 [email protected] -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
