Role : Hadoop Developer Location : Sunnyvale, CA Duration : 6Months H1B copy is must for processing *Overview* · Requirement is for a Sr. Hadoop Developer · The candidate must have experience with all components of the Hadoop ecosystem and specific use cases like complex event processing (CEP). The candidate will contribute to the architecture and engineering responsibilities while developing the solution. *Responsibilities:* · Understand and implement the best practices, configuration recommendations & usage design/patterns. · Design Hadoop application architectures (with features such as high availability, scalability, process isolation, load-balancing, workload scheduling, etc.). · Leverage core components of Hadoop eco-system to develop applications · Experience in integrating 3rd party tools with Hadoop ecosystem components · Conversant in writing Map/Reduce code for custom processing · Engineer process automation integrations & integration with authentication systems · Evaluate capacity for new application on-boarding into a large scale Hadoop cluster. · Provide Hadoop subject matter expertise & technical support for troubleshooting. *Experience & Qualification:* · 8+ years overall IT experience. · Experience using/installing/supporting Hadoop components such as HDFS, MapReduce, Hive, HBase, Pig, Sqoop, Flume, SPARK, STORM etc. · Experience with UNIX Shell Scripting, Java, RDBMS, NoSQL, and ETL solutions. · Experience in visualization tool such as HTML5, Jasper etc. · Experience in installing, troubleshooting, and tuning systems. · Experience with Kerberos, TLS encryption, SAML, LDAP · Experience with full SDLC deployments with associated administration and maintenance functions.
