*Description: * Build and enhance BI objects such as InfoObjects, InfoCubes, InfoSources/Data Sources, Master Data, Transfer Rules and Transformations, Update Rules, ODS, Extractors, Infosets, Aggregates, Process Chains, User Exits - Design comprehensive BI solutions, translating complex requirements into an optimal BI design - Perform requirements gathering and validation, solution design, ABAP coding, unit testing and technical documents authoring for the project requirements - Writes specifications for programs of low to moderate complexity. - Assists in resolving production support problems. Develops and suggests alternative approaches to resolving problems. - Understand business requirements, map business requirements to functional and technical requirements. Assist in fit-gap analysis to establish scope definition. - Suggest best practices to provide the overall system design based on client requirements to meet SLA on reporting requirements. - Perform high level/detail design, develop and unit test of BO objects (Universe, Webi, Crystal Reports and Dashboards). - Collaborate and work with other BW/BO developers, designers, and architects to ensure all the BO objects meet business requirements and performance goals. - Responsible for migrating BO objects across the landscape and provide inputs in setting up BO security and authorization profiles."
