Provide recommendations for solving, and implementing solutions to provide data transparency for Oracle 12i implementation. The candidate should have solid experience in BI APPS from Oracle eBusiness Suite side and demonstrate knowledge of data warehouse end-to-end implementation processes. This role will closely work with Architects, Process experts and business system analysts to understand analytical/reporting requirements, design solutions and to bring in appropriate data from various Source applications into the data warehouse to support business needs. *Day-to-Day Responsibilities: *• Implement Pre-built DWBI solutions and customize as per the business needs. • Review and analyze Business requirements and functional specifications. • Design, extend and implement Enterprise Data model (Logical and Physical) • Participation in the design and development of data warehouses/ data marts • Understanding source systems and how they will map to target data warehouse environment • Design and implement ETL solution to extract data from various applications to DW system. • Identify performance bottlenecks especially in data model, data integration components, data load etc. • Create detailed design, technical documents and effort estimates. • Design reporting and analytic solutions to meet requirements. • Lead and work with team that spread across multiple locations. The professional must have demonstrated this experience using a formal structured methodology. Following skills are required: - 8 - 10 years of experience delivering BI and data warehousing Solutions in a technical lead role. - Experience in implementing BI projects from requirement definition through production deployment and support. - Solid understanding of Dimensional data modeling and Data warehousing concepts - Hands on Data analysis, Data modeling, Data Quality, ETL design, architecture, implementation and testing experience in DWBI Solutions. - Strong technical knowledge of Oracle BI Applications (OBIA) is preferred. - Hands-on experience with - Informatica Power center 9.x ETL tool (4-5 Years experience) - BI APPS with Order Management/Supply Chain Analytics (Booking, Backlog, Shipment, Inventory and MRP Data models) or Financial Analytics (Billing, Revenue, Cogs, General Ledger) and Procurement experience (3-4 Years experience) - OBIEE in RPD and Dashboard development, configuring data level security (2-3 Years experience) - 2-3 years’ experience in designing OBIEE reports. - Change data capture techniques - Oracle DB (SQL, PL/SQL) - Performance Tuning of ETL and Report. - DAC – (1-2 Years Experience) - Shell scripts - Good Technical understanding of Oracle ERP (EBS) applications 12i module (Account Receivable, Account Payables, Order Processing concepts, Shipment, Invoices, General Ledger). Person should have used Oracle 12i ERP as source.
