The DBA should also have Oracle Active Data Guard experience and be able to make recommendations for disaster recovery and routine backups The DBA should have system or infrastructure knowledge to assist with hardware, hosting, and storage solutions. HP/UX system administration experience is a plus, but not required. The DBA must be skilled in customer service and be able to communicate with external vendors, technical and non-technical staff.
