*Kindly reply to [email protected]* Position: MySQL DBA Contract to hire San Francisco, CA About you: • 3 to 5 years of experience with MySQL preferably with Percona in a Linux environment • 3 to 5 years of experience with various RDBMS engines such as Oracle, Sybase, DB2 is a plus • 3 to 5 years of Linux OS experience • Solid working knowledge of MySQL performance and tuning • Solid understanding of various MySQL replication methodologies such as Galera, Master/Slave, Master/Master • Solid knowledge of logical and physical database design • Solid knowledge of InnoDB • Solid knowledge of MySQL 5.5 and 5.6 • Proficiency in scripting languages such as Bash, Perl, Python, PHP • 5+ years of experience working in a high volume production environment • Solid knowledge in schema design principles with demonstrated aptitude to apply best practices for scalable designs and influence developers Bonuses: • Startup Enthusiast.
