*MID LEVEL PHP 5 Developer*
*Location: Mount Laurel, NJ(LOCAL ONLY)*

We are looking for an experienced back-end PHP developer to help us move
our platform forward. The software developer’s role is to design, code,
test, and analyze using PHP5 OO, JavaScript and JQuery software programs.
This includes researching, designing, documenting, and modifying software
specifications throughout the production lifecycle. The eligible candidate
should be an experienced PHP5 developer who can understand and adapt to the
existing framework and build automation scripts within the application. You
will be responsible for developing new and maintaining existing web
applications and websites. This position is coding intensive, and will
require the ability to coordinate well with a team; as well as show
personal initiative and take ownership of individual components of the
development.
Must Have for the Position
· At least 5 years of experience in real-world PHP5 object oriented
development
· Experience with JavaScript libraries and frameworks (jQuery
preferred)
· Strong communication skills – verbal and written
· Set best practices for the software development process: coding
standards, testing, change management, build automation, release planning
and deployment.
· Familiarity with the LAMP Stack
· Experience using Git or other revision control applications
· May prepare technical user guides.
Nice to have
· 1 year of experience in SQL or PL/SQL. MySQL database preferred.
· 1 year of experience in real-world Perl scripting
· Experience in the Telecommunications Industry
· Bachelor’s degree
What you will be doing
· Build reusable and customized PHP components, plugins, and
frameworks
· Developing scalable and performance applications and analyzing
large volumes of data; proficiency in automated unit test development
practices and design methodologies.
· Integrate server-side code with HTML and CSS
· Use jQuery to enhance rich user interfaces
· Assist with writing effective user stories and divide the stories
into SCRUM tasks.

· 75% - PHP5 OO
· 20% - MySQL Development
· 5% - PERL Development
