Duration: Long term



*Resource Request* – 2 parts are needed.  *Urgent* need is for the delivery
piece.  But if the same person can do both components, this could be a
project starting asap and running through late April.

*Part 1 – PeopleSoft 9.1 Training Delivery*



1.        There are two courses: Core HR and DFM ).  Content is developed
for both, and classes have already been taught in first round.

2.        Instructor skills needed:

·         Knowledge of Core HR

·         Knowledge of very high level Financials to include:  Manager
approval functions,  approving invoices, viewing invoices, account
distribution of an invoice

·         Knowledge of Manager self service

·         Ability and patience  to work with students of various computer
skill levels.

3.        Both cources are 6 hours long.

4.       Most of the delivery is the DFM course, with just 2 sessions of
Core HR.

5.        Delivery is Southern Maryland

6.        Dates:

·         Feb 24-27

·         March 3-5

·         April 8-10

·         April 14-20

7.       DFM (Department Finance Manager) Course

•       Lesson 1: Introduction

•       Lesson 2: Navigation

•       Lesson 3: Business Units & Chartfields

•       Lesson 4: Workflow Overview

•       Lesson 5: HR Transaction Approvals

•       Lesson 6: Financial Transaction Approvals

•       Lesson 7: Inquiries & My Reports

•       Class Review & Evaluations



8.        Core HR Course

·         Lesson 1: Introduction & Overview

·         Lesson 2: Navigate HR Inquiry, Reporting

·         Lesson 3: Describe the use of Position Control

·         Lesson 4: Understand the DFM and Reports To Manager Role

·         Lesson 5: Identify workflow in the HR enabled Transaction

·         Lesson 6:  Approve HR Transactions routed for HR Approval

·         Class Review & Evaluation

·



*Part 2 - PS Time and Labor content development *

20 days content development of Time and Labor module for end users.
Content to be developed in UPK preferably, but if trainer doesn’t have UPK
knowledge we can write it in Word and have another person convert to UPK
(in this scenario the days would be less).

-          Scheduled to being in March (date TBD and flexible)

-          One or two on site visits in Maryland, otherwise mostly remote
development
