*Required Skills:*
• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information
Technology, or equivalent
• Must have 3 + years’ experience with Smalltalk programming
and debugging/troubleshooting with Cincom Object Studio or equivalent
• Must be a team-player with demonstrated ability to work in
a collaborative environment
• Ability and experience multi-tasking and working
effectively under pressure
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical
requirements
*Preferred Skills:*
• Background in Credit Card Processing
• Client server application development
• Knowledge of Quality Center
• Knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint
Specific job responsibilities for this position include:
• Acts in the highest level technical role as an individual
contributor and/or team lead for the most complex computer applications
and/or application initiatives.
• Analyze highly complex business requirements, design and
create written technical specifications for new and changes to existing
computer platforms and applications
• Utilizes a thorough understanding of available technology,
tools, and existing designs.
• Develops highly complex original code, or provides coding
direction to less experienced staff.
• Writes new, and updates existing, documentation,
departmental technical procedures, and support guides, including formal and
informal cross training for production support staff for all production
applications.
• Meets all quality, security, and compliance requirements
for supported applications, data, and transactions.
• Works directly with business partners to understand
requirements, resolve issues, and keep applications functioning.
