*6+ Mts* *DOE* The Ideal candidate would come from high transactional and scalable environments, DaaS, Oracle, NoSQL, MongoDB, Hadoop & Cassandra environments. This DBA will be responsible for the administration of the Cassandra Database that houses all of the user accounts. *Qualifications:* - Must have 7+ years of working experience in operations team for mission critical environment (Data Center, 365x24x7). - Must have 5+ year’s professional experience as an administrator with data technologies, relational and non-relation data store solutions including Oracle, MySQL, Cassandra, Mongo DB RDS or NoSQL databases and associated practices - Must have2+ years of professional experience as an Administrator for a DataStax Cassandra based data service in a multi-region environment with in depth knowledge of architecting and creating Cassandra systems. - Must have experience with Java, Perl, Python, ruby or any other scripting languages for automating system administration tasks. - Must have experience with troubleshooting difficult production issues e.g. memory leaks, networking problems, intermittent failures, etc. across the stack. - Must have experience with monitoring platforms using tools like Nagios/Wily, Console and Splunk for data reports. - Nice to have good understanding of AWS, Hadoop stack, Elastic Search, Map Reduce, Hive, Hbase and Flume. - Nice to have experience testing web services/APIs such as: REST, SOAP. - Must possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills, and be able to work with others at all levels; effective at working with geographically remote and culturally diverse teams *Regards,* *Rahman, * *Sr Resource Recruiter* *[email protected] <[email protected]>* *703 246 1849* -- You received this message because you are subscribed to the Google Groups "Open Source J2EE frameworks" group.
