*Role : Automation Test Engineer* *Location : Moorestown, NJ* *Duration: 6+ months* *Experience : 6+ Yrs* Role will be to create automation test scripts at the client, network and server levels. Tests will consist of both GUI automated test and standalone tests against APIs. While experience in testing software is helpful, this role is to support automated testing of "subsystems", not software. The candidate needs to be able to program in a modern language such as Java. Knowledge of lower level scripting languages is desirable. Understanding of TCP/IP networking at an intermediate level is required. Candidate will be required to demonstrate the ability to use their programming/scripting language of choice to develop a test case against an API. Candidate will be required to successfully develop and execute a test case against a subsystem using SNMP. Candidate must be comfortable working in both Linux and Windows environments. Self-Starter / Problem Solving abilities - The candidate needs to be able to work around various types of obstacles ie. Technical, personal, administrative with minimal oversight.
