The Sr. Services Java Developer will be responsible for business services development and integration The Services Developer solves technical problems, writes message flows and transformations, writes code for applications and services, and configures integration points. The developer designs and codes technical components (queues, web services, transformation logic, message flows, and Java code) utilizing a service oriented approach. They will work in a highly collaborative, cross functional development team and may take a lead role on various software components. Minimum 5 years software development experience including 3 years of Java and JEE. Thorough understating of Java JEE, Web Services and development of service oriented applications. Experience developing RESTful and SOAP based web services. Thorough understanding of and experience in object oriented design and programming. Experience developing on application servers such as Websphere Application Server and WebLogic. Excellent verbal and written communication skills required. Creative problem solving skills and ability to effectively communicate and translated feedback, needs and solutions. Must have strong teamwork orientation and the ability to foster collaboration within and across teams. Experience with an Agile development methodology, including XP method such as Test Driven Development and pair programming.
