This role requires the candidate to have excellent technical skills, great attention to detail and to be a quick-learner. You will need to be customer service oriented and have the ability to work closely with various internal business partners across all levels. Responsibilities: - Perform audits prior and post payroll transmission to ensure accuracy of payroll data - Answering employee's questions promptly; in regards to W2, taxation of benefits, relocation - Reviewing processed payroll for accuracy and to process the necessary corrections timely - Must maintain organized records and documentation; responsible for providing documentation and answering inquiries during Sox compliance reviews and other audits - Create Ad-hoc reports and be able to analyze the data - Working knowledge of FLSA and California Labor Code - Ability to calculate manual payrolls checks for terminating employees to include all necessary earnings, taxes, and deductions - Must have good knowledge of flexible spending plans, garnishments, employee stock purchase plans, stock options, and 401(k) plans. - Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to meet deadlines.
