*Job Title: Perl/PHP Developer* *Location: Durham, (North Carolina)* *Duratioin:6+ Months* *Job Description:* The developer will work within the development environment on various projects large and small. The developer will be working with a small team of developers on some big initiatives within the business. This will require a lot of communication and interaction with other developers working on different parts of the project to ensure that each module interacts properly with each other. *Responsibilities:* · Design software modules that interact with larger software project · Focus on algorithms that sort/group large data sets into correlated groupings(Geography focused as an example) · Design software modules that interact with larger software project · Build small functional pieces of code within major development applications · Interpret and test functions within code for major development releases · Implement designs for User GUIs within new applications being built. *Mandatory Skill Set:* · Expert in the following Computer Languages and Scripting/Markup : PERL, XML/JSON, PHP · Experience with My SQL databases · Ability to quickly translate and navigate through new code from different development styles. · Planning and organizational skills · Ability to work in an Agile development environment. · Attention to detail · Ability to summarize progress and articulate issues to the project team · Ability to take ownership of specific tasks and follow the project teams direction through to completion with minimal supervision · Fluent in conversational English when interacting with native English speakers · Excellent English grammar and writing proficiency · Proficiency using web-based computer systems to locate technical information.
